Central Utah 911 (or CU911) was established in 2018 through a mutual effort of Utah County, Juab County and the municipalities of Alpine, American Fork, Cedar Fort, Cedar Hills, Eagle Mountain, Elk Ridge, Fairfield, Genola, Goshen, Highland, Nephi, Lehi, Payson, Pleasant Grove, Salem, Santaquin, Saratoga Springs, Spanish Fork, Vineyard, and Woodland Hills.  These communities are located in Utah and Juab Counties which are in the central part of Utah. 

Utah County covers approximately 2,100 square miles and a population of about 675,000.  Central Utah 911 serves cities whose total population is over half of the total county’s base, at about 400,000 with a high growth projection. Juab County covers approximately 3,400 square miles and a population of about 12,000.

Central Utah 911 is a primary Public Safety Answering Point, receiving, processing and dispatching emergency 911 and non-emergency public safety requests for police, fire and EMS, with 13 law enforcement agencies and 21 fire/ EMS agencies
